At one time I had a colecovision system with the atari expansion slot, and over 100 game cartridges. I thought the colecovision controller was better than the atari, joystick, paddle, and numberpad all in one.
Ditto on the love for Sierra games.

It was Pong on an Sears pong console. Yes back in the day stores would private brand things to give them a store cred
I remember the colecovision thing with a load of games on one cartridge- cutting edge so it was. Also the zx spectrum and BBC micro but ma first console was an Atari that came with Pong and Combat. However the first game I really remember playing was called something like 'Tank Commander' and was only in the newly invented "arcades" (they only had coin drops and grab-some-soft-toy shite before)- based on some serious military soft/hardware!(rly!)
But also there were those little DS looking things that did 'parachute drop' and worse! I had a few of them too and one called "Split Second" it was bigger and I still has that kickin' about somewhere!
Ahh the days- galaxian but that wasn't so early and ma fav Pacman. I was there at the start so really it don't get much older.
I do however remember playing Othello on ma dad's office computer and that truely was the start!
Firkin'ell....... now I's feelin' like I witnessed the birth of something that dragged me up with it.![]()

Like a cemetery!
I still got one in ma mum's attic if ya want to buy it.
A few years ago I got my old BBC up and running- took about 25mins to load up Chuckie Egg but at least I remembered to make sure the volume on the tape deck was up high enough! (bet that takes a few of you oldies back, lol)
Oh and ma Dad's office comp took up nearly a whole floor of his office block and was still shite at othello!

That would be awesome but it wouldn't be worth you selling it tbh I wouldn't want to pay very much and besides I actually meant I wish I had one back in the day.![]()

Wonderboy 3 on commador 64, could sit and watch the flashing rainbow colour loading time all day long. Now days I get fed up with a 20 second loading screen lol
I remember playing the original Duck Hunt at a friend's house a couple times when I was in kindergarten. Man that was a long time ago....
Have seen those old atari systems selling online lately for about $250-300...Retro game system, lol
