    The DC++ Guide. First off: Download PeerWeb SDC++ Next step: Start up your newly installed PeerWeb SDC++ program and click on the menu tab and go to the File Settings option. From there you will need to enter various things under the General Tab.

  1. Language issue + Win98

    I am still using windows 98, so Apex DC++ does not work for my computer. My second problem is that PWDC++ is putting all hub dialouge in an asian language. How do I change this? is there a fix for it? what file can I download?

    Uh, 'scuse my ignorance, But whatever happened to the peerweb dc hub(private one)? I hope I'm not violating any sort of rule by talking about it(although im pretty sure I'm not, its not fight club or some sh**) I dunno, I haven't been on it in like a year and when i try to connect it doesn't go...

  4. failed tcp port with ports forwarded

    Hi, people.. ive been using Peerweb for about 12 months now with the router and all the settings in place with no problems. (once id learned how to forward ports and sort the internal firewalls out etc) but this one is baffling me something cruel.. I have even had to resort to a full system...

    What ports should be open and TCP or UDP? My internet is dying every few minutes due to not knowing which ports to forward. This will probably help other people also, sometimes packets will still get to their destination but openng ports will make connections for everyone faster and make people...

    My IP: Comcast sent an email stating that I had illegally downloaded The DiVinci Code DVD Rip I got from this site. They even mentioned my DC Username. Guess the party's over for me.

  7. external ip?

    Hello. I'm behind router and still any, except LDC++, can find my external ip automaticaly, so i have to write it manualy everytime. Peerweb and strongdc automaticaly always find local network ip 192.168.1.x. Maybe somebody knows how to solve this problem or it's imposible yet?

    My DL Queuegot empty !!! This has happened for the 2nd time I'm seriously thinking of changing the DC++ client , although I like that it does not have to be installed Is there any way , I get back the dl queue

Currently some major things come to mind, such as protocol encryption, winny type bootstrapping or something more advanced such as what rodi uses, tor based irc chat and servers, firewall to firewall transfers, udp filetransfers. ...

  10. ApexDC++ Upload Slots?

    Umm I need to reduce the number of upload slots. Right now it says 2 slots per hub, and when I join 5-6 hubs, the upload slots go upto 10! How do I set the slot limit? I tried looking the preferences but didnt see anything about that. Might have overlooked, so need some help! Thanks!

    What the hell does turn on your tags mean? I've been very good about following hub rules, but i have no idea what that means. added hub to favs added tag to nick and reconnected, but was then kicked and told to turn on my tags. Thnx in advance Noob

  14. router and port forwarding help?

    can anyone help me figure out why I can't do anything but connect to hubs in my dc++ if I've configured my router properly (or at least I'm pretty sure I have) and the settings in my dc++ match it too? I used to have port xxxx always enabled for both tcp/udp settings or whatever and that worked...

  15. temp file cannot be seen after format :(

    hi everybody, i formatted my hdd. i had the copy of my temp file. i installed the dc++ then choose the temp folder in which my temp file exist, but when i open the download queue, i cannot see the temp file. how can i fix this problem? thanks in advance...

  16. there is not enough space on the disk?but there is!

    Hi everyone, i am using peerweb dc++ 0.41. i am downloading a file which is near 4.2gb and 95% of it is completed. i mean, 95% is completed and now there is 4.36gb free space.but now when i want to continue to download, it says "there is not enough space on the disk" but as i told there is 4.36gb...
