So ive been wanting to get into 3D's max a long time ago but never had the time. I finally got around to installing it and i am going through the tutorials.

But i am stuck on the very basic part.

I am going through a tutorial of modeling a plane, i understand the concept and everything but the things that giving me the most trouble is the viewport back round.

Everytime i add something to the back round its get messed up and all i see is part of it or when i try to lock the pan/zoom the objects resets. Does anyony have any suggestion/tips for this? It is honestly driving me insane. I know once i get past this it will be a lot easier.

If yall do not understand what i was trying to explain let me know and ill post screens or something


EDIT - Found a better question to ask that will solve my problem.

How do i go about moving the viewport backround?
