PeerWeb.org IRC Channel

For anyone who remembers, we used to have an IRC channel here but it was lost due to inactivity. We have since decided to revive it and would like to invite all users to join and chat with us.

You will need an irc client, such as mIRC (www.mirc.com), or you can find a list of IRC clients here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_IRC_clients).

Once you have a client, you can join by clicking this link (irc://irc.banhammer.com/peerweb) or by joining irc.banhammer.com and #peerweb. Alternatively, you can use Mibbit to connect through your browser (http://embed.mibbit.com/?server=irc.banhammer.com&channel=%23peerweb&forcePrompt=true).

Edit: There's a basic guide to mIRC (http://forums.peerweb.org/showthread.php?t=24397), which is in the tutorial forum. Use the above address to join instead of the one in the guide remember.

Update: Network has changed, p2pchat was being fail.

Yeah, we are going to see how popular it will be for now, if it is popular enough we will see about some benefits for subscribers and so on, be nice to have a public chat for everyone to join and talk to us.

As a sidenote, be sure to read P2PChat's MOTD by typing /motd. It will be displayed in either the server window or the window you had activated when typing the command.
I personnally recommend Miranda IM (http://www.miranda-im.org) for IRC chat.
